Introduction
Welcome!
The artifacts are presented in the form of a blog with a new entry for each artifact under the theme heading. The blog aims to be an easy way of visually relating to the information provided by the annotations. The structure follows an overall theme and then breaks down this one theme into three branching themes in which the artifacts are placed underneath theses themes. The themes reflect on the major trends found in social informatics that have been read and gathered throughout the semester. The introduction aims at allowing the user of this artifact the ability to be able to use the information given and be able to navigate throughout the blog. I will first describe the major themes then the sub themes followed by how to use this blog effectively. The overarching theme in this digital scrapbook is “Imagining culture through technology” this is then broken down by three sub themes:
- Artifacts of the Imagination
- Bidirectional impact of culture and technology
- Design affects culture and technology
